2022: A Year in Review and Reflection

2022 has been a year of celebration as One Circle Foundations' 25th year anniversary. We want to share all that our team and you as circle and council facilitators and supporters have accomplished this year.

This year we...

Trained 1,786 people from across the globe in one of our four trainings: Girls Circle, The Council for Boys and Young Men, Mitigating Gender and Racial Bias: Intersectionality and Allyship, and Mother-Daughter Circle Training

• 55 trainings were provided: 28 Girls Circle Facilitator Trainings, 16 Council for Boys and Young Men Trainings, 8 Mitigating Gender and Racial Bias Trainings, and 3 Mother-Daughter Circle Trainings

• In-Person Training resumed in August for private contracts – 6 total

• 80 trainnig scholarships were provided

Brothers as Allies activity guide was translated by Pamela Clements, LMFT and published in Spanish

SOGIE was translated into Spanish and made available as a free resource

OCF blog launched: 29 individual blog articles published with 13 contributors

• 12 free monthly facilitator support meetings were provided for all facilitators

• New gold and silver membership programs were launched, providing members with training video library access, quarterly member newsletters, networking opportunities and more

• 6 Interns from the University of California, Berkeley provided 432 hours of volunteer service

• Welcomed Roberto Gibraltarik, PhD, as our Public Relations and Partnerships Manager

• Welcomed 3 new Board Members: Aime Mukendi, Jr., Harsh Jadhav, and Vilma Caban, EdD.

• Welcomed new Trainer for The Council for Boys and Young Men: Michelangelo Lobato

• Welcomed new Adobe InDesign specialist: Anna Dimitruk

• Updated grant templates were published as a free resource for Girls Circle and The Council and Boys and Young Men

• New grant template was published for Unity Circle

• 14 Updated Activity Guides were published with current research and resources: Growing Healthy Growing Strong, Standing Together, Friendship, Who I Am, Being a Girl, Body Image, Expressing My Individuality, Relationship With Peers, My Family, My Self, Paths to the Future, Wise & Well, and three Women's Circle guides: Identity – Who I Am, Being a Well Woman, and Relationships

• Launched phase one of piloting a digital curriculum prototype for Mitigating Gender and Racial Bias Activity Guide

• Launched a 3-year strategic planning project with Marketing Business Solutions
