Growing Your Circle: How Los Alamos Juvenile Justice Advisory Board is Promoting Circles
In today’s interconnected world, facilitators have a unique opportunity to grow their Circle programs by leveraging the power of referrals and effective outreach strategies. Whether you’re just starting or looking to expand your reach, the key to success lies in building a strong network and showcasing the value of your offerings. In this blog, we highlight our friends at Los Alamos Juvenile Justice Advisory Board (JJAB) and their diverse strategies to promote Circle engagement, enabling them to create a thriving community and make a meaningful impact.
3 things JJAB is doing to promote Circles:
- Handing out swag- JJAB ordered mood cups (which change color when cold drinks are poured) and filled them with a general One Circle flyer.
- Simulating a One Circle activity- JJAB passed out a sample activity at their open house, including materials for students to do at home.
- Creating a promotional video.

Words from JJAB’s Program Manager, Jennifer McNeel:
“Pac-8 (a local multimedia nonprofit that ensures fair, equal, and high-quality access and voice for all individuals and groups of Los Alamos County) worked on a One Circle promotional video. They highlighted footage from groups having fun together along with several youth testimonials, a testimonial from a middle school counselor, and a Circle facilitator doing a great job explaining all the wonderful benefits of One Circle.”
One Circle Foundation would like to thank JJAB for highlighting us in the impactful work that they are doing. We invite you to share how you promote Circles as we enter a new school year.
