A Beautiful Experience in Oakland

Our return to in-person training in the Bay Area this month was a huge success. It was a joy to be with our community again face-to-face. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us and to all those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this Girls Circle Facilitator Training to life. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

 Annual Board Retreat

Our board of directors recently held our annual in-person retreat in the vibrant city of Chicago, IL. Surrounded by the beauty of this incredible city, we engaged in meaningful discussions about the health and future of our organization. We grounded ourselves in the heart of our mission and vision, engaging in creative and mindfulness activities while sitting in Circle.

In a specialceremony, three new board members took their official oaths, while senior members renewed theirs, reaffirming their dedication to the governance and strategic guidance ofthe organization. We held a board meeting and passed the 2025 budget, appointed new committee chairs, and laid the groundwork for our upcoming end-of-year fundraising campaign. As part of our strategic planning, we explored ways to stay agile amid potential funding shifts, ensuring our programs continue uninterrupted. We also approved the theme and content for our 2024 annual report and approved the transition to a new interactive, mobile-friendly board management portal to transform meetings into more dynamic experiences by streamlining preparation, enabling real-time collaboration, and enhancing decision-making.

But it wasn’t all business; we savored the delicious cuisine that Chicago has to offer, enjoyed the delightful weather, and soaked in the vibrant energy of the River North neighborhood.

This retreat was a time of rejuvenation for our board members, who tirelessly dedicate their time and energy to our organization throughout the year. This special gathering allows us to connect, reflect, and celebrate our accomplishments while also planning for the exciting future ahead. Here’s to many more years of growth, connection, and impact together!

In gratitude,

One Circle Foundation Board of Directors

Give the Gift of Connection

Your monthly donation of $20 will support One Circle Foundation’s Scholarship Fund!

At One Circle Foundation, we believe every youth and teen deserves the opportunity to develop resiliency through healthy connections. Unfortunately, many youth-serving organizations in under-resourced and under-served communities lack the financial resources to provide the training and curricula necessary to make this possible.

That's where One Circle Foundation comes in. With each dollar donated, we can provide training and curricula scholarships to these organizations, giving youth and teens in these communities the chance to thrive.

We invite you to support this crucial work by becoming a sustaining donor through a recurring monthly or yearly donation. Your contribution will significantly impact the lives of young people in need. Become a Sustaining Donor today.
