The Future of OCF Trainings
People often get excited about New Year's because it represents a fresh start and a new beginning. It’s the time of year where vision boards, resolutions, and goal setting are in full motion. We reflect on what has happened over the past year, identify what needs improvement, and see where we can start fresh for the coming year. We here at One Circle Foundation are no different. The idea of a clean slate and the chance to start anew is very inspiring and exciting for us as well. We’re excited to share our vision for the Training Team in 2024 and our optimism for the future.
At One Circle Foundation, we train, consult, and equip service providers across all youth sectors in the United States and internationally with evidence & research-based program models. We have some of the best trainers in the industry who come from a variety of backgrounds and are collectively disciplined in several fields such as juvenile justice, education, community-based organizations, and mental health.
“Quality Assurance” is our goal for this year, and we’re excited to take our training team to a higher level of standards. Our vision for 2024 is a restored commitment to taking a proactive approach in assuring our trainings and trainer skills are meeting quality standards—Quality Assurance.
Hopefully, at this point we’ve sparked your interest in our exciting vision for 2024. Also, maybe you’re wondering, how do we plan to accomplish our vision?
One action step we’re taking towards quality assurance is promoting a culture of high standards through implementation of processes and systems that ensure training design & delivery are performed with validity, consistency, and integrity. We’re excited about this first step because it’ll provide our trainers with an opportunity for professional development, on-going training improvement and shared best practices. We want our trainers to know and trust that we’re invested in providing employee training and development opportunities to gain confidence in their abilities and skills. We also want our trainers to experience satisfaction as employees of One Circle Foundation.
Our trainers recently completed individual Clifton Strengths Assessments— a tool developed by The Gallup Organization which helps individuals discover their top five strengths and can help organizations improve company culture and performance. It's important for our trainers to identifying what they’re good at to maximize their training delivery. Our plan is to use the results of their strength assessment to personalize training and development uniquely to them.
What’s even more exciting is the introduction of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which is new for our trainers and will provide insight into how well they are meeting the quality assurance standards. Most importantly, trainers will be able to take ownership of their performance goals, identify what they want to achieve, and to see if they’re on track to meet their goals. One Circle Foundation is dedicated to helping our trainers learn and acquire new training delivery skills, professional knowledge, and experience required to excel in their role.
We are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead with an open-mind, flexibility, and willingness to take risks, so we can make the most of this exciting year. We invite you to attend our 2024 trainings in-person and/or online to meet our amazing trainers.
