10-SESSION PROGRAM, Ages 13+
Set Two further expands the examination of male gender norms, their effect on young men and their relationships, and the development of respectful, nonviolent models of manhood. These highly relevant topics include: Respecting Women and Girls, Respecting Intimate Partners, Challenging Homophobia and Becoming Allies, Forming Healthy and Safer Sex Practices, Digging into Substance Use, and Becoming Men of Honor. Experiential activities include: magazine gender norms search, common intimate partner/dating scenarios, rigid norms vs. respectful and leadership, fact or fiction game, athletes making history, LGBT youth video clips, an original card game promoting conversations about sex, creating PSA’s (Public Service Announcements) video, Substances Jeopardy, an individual Motivational Interviewing tool, creating symbolic shields, journaling, and ceremony.
In order to optimize full benefit of this curriculum for young men, we recommend the program be provided as a whole, beginning with Set 1 followed by Set 2, as the sessions build upon each other to more fully develop the concepts, skills, and experiences toward becoming “men of honor.” However, for organizations unable to run 20 sessions, they may choose to select the sessions most applicable to the youth in their program.
An internet connection is required to view the online flipbook format. Each purchase comes with the ability to share flipbook access with up to 3 people in your organization.

Printed vs. Digital Activity Guides
Unsure which format is right for you? Our physical activity guides come in a durable 3-ring binder with a full-color cover and spine entrapped in plastic. The material within is printed on standard 8 ½” x 11” pages, which are 3-hole-punched and can be removed for duplicating handouts and forms or facilitator preparation and returned in place. Our digital flipbook activity guides are formatted for screen viewing and take advantage of this medium by employing a lot of color and interactive elements, such as embedded videos, web links, and navigation options for quickly jumping to different areas of the guide. Deciding which is right for you depends on which of these experiences you would find most comfortable as a facilitator.
