About the Advanced Facilitation Skills Training

The Advanced Facilitator Skills Training is designed for One Circle Foundation Certified Facilitators who are ready to expand their capacity to connect, lead, and grow their facilitation skills with greater intention and responsiveness in today’s highly digital interconnected world.
Grounded in recent research and real-world practice, this training equips facilitators with progressive, creative, and practical strategies to manage challenges in face-to-face engagement—particularly with youth affected by reduced attention spans and increased attachment to social media, gaming, and digital devices.
Through participatory and applied learning, facilitators will take part in hands-on activities such as role plays, group work, and real-life scenarios that reflect conflicts between facilitators and youth, as well as practicums focused on managing challenging group dynamics.
The training also emphasizes practical strategies that help facilitators move away from power-and-control responses during moments of conflict, instead promoting relational and strengths-based approaches to facilitation.
By the end of the Advanced Facilitator Training, participants will have developed personalized, actionable steps to guide their continued growth and effectiveness in engaging youth and facilitating emotionally safe supportive Circles.
